Simple Slow Cooker Beef Chuck Roast Recipe

Ingredients

•2 lb roast

•3 tbsp Cooking With Thatown2 Steak Seasoning

•1 cup of water

•1 tbsp beef boullion

•1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

•1 tbsp salt

•2 tsp onion powder

•2 tsp garlic

•1 yellow onion

•3 whole cloves of garlic

Directions Remove any excess fat from the roast and pat dry with paper towels. Add olive oil to a skillet and place the roast into the skillet over medium high heat. Sear all sides of the roast for around 2-3 minutes per side. Once the roast has browned, place the roast into a slow cooker. Add water, beef bouillon, apple cider vinegar, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook on high for 6 hours. Optional at the 4-4:30 hour mark add garlic cloves and whole chopped onion to the slow cooker. Let the roast continue to cook for the full 6 hours. After the roast has finished cooking shred the roast with a fork and mix together with the juices from the roast and serve.
